PPFIBP2 cdna clone
PPFIBP2 cDNA Clone
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the LAR protein-tyrosine phosphatase-interacting protein (liprin) family. The encoded protein is a beta liprin and plays a role in axon guidance and neuronal synapse development by recruiting LAR protein-tyrosine phosphatases to the plasma membrane. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2012]
Uniprot Description
PPFIBP2: May regulate the disassembly of focal adhesions. Did not bind receptor-like tyrosine phosphatases type 2A. Belongs to the liprin family. Liprin-beta subfamily.
Protein type: Adaptor/scaffold
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 11p15.4
Cellular Component: extracellular space; intracellular

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PPFIBP2, cDNA Clone" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
