This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF. It is inseted BamH I to Xho I. The gene insert contains multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene and recombination site into your expression vector.
Vector
(puc19-derived cloning vector)
Preparation Before Usage
1. Centrifuge at 7000rpm for 1 minute. 2. Carefully open the vial and add 100ul of sterile water to dissolve the DNA. Each tube contains approximately 10ug of lyophilized plasmid.
Preparation and Storage
Store the plasmid at -20 degree C.
Related Product Information for CNN1 cdna clone
CNN1, also known as calponin-1, belongs to the calponin family. CNN1 is thin filament-associated protein that is implicated in the regulation and modulation of smooth muscle contraction. It is capable of binding to actin, calmodulin, troponin C and tropomyosin. The interaction of calponin with actin inhibits the actomyosin Mg-ATPase activity.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CNN1, cDNA Clone" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
