Related Product Information for CCL17 recombinant protein
Description: Recombinant Human CCL17/TARC Protein is produced by Human Cell expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Ala24Ser94) of human CCL17/TARC (Accession #Q92583) fused with a 6xHis tag at the C-terminus.

Background: This antimicrobial protein is one of several Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q arm of chromosome 16. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for T lymphocytes, but not monocytes or granulocytes. The product of this gene binds to chemokine receptors CCR4 and CCR8. This chemokine plays important roles in T cell development in thymus as well as in trafficking and activation of mature T cells.

Product Notes

The CCL17 ccl17 (Catalog #AAA9139748) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The amino acid sequence is listed below: ARGTNVGREC CLEYFKGAIP LRKLKTWYQT SEDCSRDAIV FVTVQGRAIC SDPNNKRVKN AVKYLQSLER S. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCL17/TARC, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
