Human Adenylyl Cyclase Associated Protein 1 ELISA Kit | CAP1 elisa kit

Human Adenylyl Cyclase Associated Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Gene Names
Park7; Dj1; CAP1; DJ-1; SP22
Reactivity
Human
Synonyms
Adenylyl Cyclase Associated Protein 1; Human Adenylyl Cyclase Associated Protein 1 ELISA Kit; CAP1 elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Human
Specificity
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human CAP1 and analogues was observed.
Samples
Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces, Urine and Body Fluids
Assay Type
Sandwich
Detection Range
62.5 pg/ml – 2000 pg/ml.
Sensitivity
10 pg/ml.
Intended Uses
This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic applications! It is intended to be determinated CAP1 concentrations in Human serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Human CAP1 antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add CAP1 and CAP1 antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of CAP1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean x100]
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C

NCBI Description

displays a specific localization pattern to the anterior-ventral surface of the equatorial segment; may play a role in sperm-egg interactions and fertilization [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

DJ-1: associated with autosomal recessive early onset parkinsonism. Involved in the oxidative stress response. Three cysteines in DJ-1 may be oxidized to cysteine sulphonic acid in the cellular response to H2O2. Loss of DJ-1 function may lead to neurodegeneration.

Product Notes

The Human CAP1 park7 (Catalog #AAA027308) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA027308 ELISA Kit recognizes Human CAP1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Adenylyl Cyclase Associated Protein 1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
