Related Product Information for CA-50 active protein
MyBioSource is the leading producer and supplier of Cancer Antigen 50 (CA-50) for monitoring Gastrointestinal tract cancer and Pancreatic cancer for research and as a biomarker for manufacturing.

Custom preparations, technical support, bulk quantities and aliquoting available.

The CA-50 tumor marker test measures the blood level of cancer antigen 50, which is a carbohydrate present on the surface of certain cancer cells and released into the blood stream where they can be detected immunologically; this test is more useful for determining the effectiveness of treatment, rather than for cancer screening. CA 50 is most prevalent in gastrointestinal cancers, but can also be associated with cancer outside the digestive tract.

Product Notes

The CA-50 (Catalog #AAA173343) is an Active Protein and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cancer Antigen 50, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
