Related Product Information for TMF1 blocking peptide
Potential coactivator of the androgen receptor. Mediates STAT3 degradation. May play critical roles in two RAB6-dependent retrograde transport processes: one from endosomes to the Golgi and the other from the Golgi to the ER. This protein binds the HIV-1 TATA element and inhibits transcriptional activation by the TATA-binding protein (TBP).

Uniprot Description

TMF1: Potential coactivator of the androgen receptor. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Nuclear receptor co-regulator; Transcription factor

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 3p14.1

Cellular Component: cytosol; Golgi apparatus

Molecular Function: protein binding; transcription cofactor activity

Biological Process: transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter

Product Notes

The TMF1 tmf1 (Catalog #AAA9230447) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TMF1, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
