TLR13 blocking peptide
TLR13 Peptide
Component of innate and adaptive immunity that recognizes and binds 23S rRNA from bacteria. TLRs (Toll-like receptors) control host immune response against pathogens through recognition of molecular patterns specific to microorganisms. Acts via MYD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response.

Uniprot Description
TLR13: Component of innate and adaptive immunity that recognizes and binds 23S rRNA from bacteria. TLRs (Toll-like receptors) control host immune response against pathogens through recognition of molecular patterns specific to microorganisms. Acts via MYD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Specifically binds the 5'-CGGAAAGACC-3' sequence on bacterial 23S rRNA, a sequence also bound by MLS group antibiotics (including erythromycin). May also recognize vesicular stomatitis virus; however, these data require additional evidences. Belongs to the Toll-like receptor family.

Product Notes
The TLR13 tlr13 (Catalog #AAA544577) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TLR13 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocompeition, Immunodepletion. Western Blot: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TLR13 tlr13 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TLR13, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
