NCBI Description

Treslin is involved in the initiation of DNA replication (Kumagai et al., 2010 [PubMed 20116089]).[supplied by OMIM, Apr 2010]

Uniprot Description

TICRR: Regulator of DNA replication and S/M and G2/M checkpoints. Regulates the triggering of DNA replication initiation via its interaction with TOPBP1 by participating in CDK2-mediated loading of CDC45L onto replication origins. Required for the transition from pre-replication complex (pre-RC) to pre- initiation complex (pre-IC). Required to prevent mitotic entry after treatment with ionizing radiation. Belongs to the treslin family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: DNA replication; Cell cycle regulation

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 15q26.1

Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; nucleus

Molecular Function: protein binding; chromatin binding

Biological Process: regulation of DNA replication initiation; mitotic cell cycle DNA replication checkpoint; response to ionizing radiation; DNA repair; DNA replication; cell cycle checkpoint; formation of translation preinitiation complex

Product Notes

The TICRR ticrr (Catalog #AAA153886) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TICRR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking (BL). The peptide is used for blocking the activity of TICRR Antibody. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37 degree C. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TICRR ticrr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TICRR, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
