KCTD12 blocking peptide

KCTD12 Antibody (Center) Blocking Peptide

Gene Names
KCTD12; PFET1; PFETIN; C13orf2
Synonyms
KCTD12; KCTD12 Antibody (Center) Blocking Peptide; BTB/POZ domain-containing protein KCTD12; Pfetin; Predominantly fetal expressed T1 domain; C13orf2; KIAA1778; PFET1; KCTD12 blocking peptide
Ordering
Specificity
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody was selected from the Center region of human KCTD12. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Form/Format
Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
Sequence Length
325
Cellular Location
Cell junction, synapse, presynaptic cell membrane. Cell junction, synapse, postsynaptic cell membrane
Tissue Location
Present in a variety of fetal organs, with highest expression levels in the cochlea and brain and, in stark contrast, is detected only at extremely low levels in adult organs, such as brain and lung.
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 degree C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 degree C.

Product Notes

The KCTD12 kctd12 (Catalog #AAA9228114) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "KCTD12, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
