NCBI Description

P-type ATPases, such as ATP11B, are phosphorylated in their intermediate state and drive uphill transport of ions across membranes. Several subfamilies of P-type ATPases have been identified. One subfamily transports heavy metal ions, such as Cu(2+) or Cd(2+). Another subfamily transports non-heavy metal ions, such as H(+), Na(+), K(+), or Ca(+). A third subfamily transports amphipaths, such as phosphatidylserine.[supplied by OMIM, Feb 2005]

Product Notes

The ATP11B atp11b (Catalog #AAA153081) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's ATP11B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking (BL). ATP11B peptide is used for blocking the activity of ATP11B antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATP11B atp11b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ATP11B, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
