ARHGEF6 blocking peptide
ARHGEF6 Antibody (C-term) Blocking Peptide
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Rho GTPases play a fundamental role in numerous cellular processes that are initiated by extracellular stimuli that work through G protein coupled receptors. The encoded protein belongs to a family of cytoplasmic proteins that activate the Ras-like family of Rho proteins by exchanging bound GDP for GTP. It may form a complex with G proteins and stimulate Rho-dependent signals. This protein is activated by PI3-kinase. Mutations in this gene can cause X-chromosomal non-specific mental retardation. Uniprot Description
ARHGEF6: Acts as a RAC1 guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF). Interacts with PAK kinases through the SH3 domain. Interacts with GIT1. Component of cytoplasmic complexes, which also contain PXN, GIT1 and PAK1. Ubiquitous. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The ARHGEF6 arhgef6 (Catalog #AAA9221960) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ARHGEF6, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
