NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
BLM: a magnesium-dependent ATP-dependent DNA-helicase that unwinds single- and double-stranded DNA in a 3'-5' direction. A member of the RecQ helicase family that is required for genome stability. Participates in DNA replication, recombination and repair. Part of the BRCA1-associated genome surveillance complex (BASC), which contains BRCA1, MSH2, MSH6, MLH1, ATM, BLM, PMS2 and the RAD50-MRE11-NBS1 protein complex which is a dynamic process changing throughout the cell cycle and within subnuclear domains. Interacts with ubiquitinated FANCD2.

Product Notes
The Mouse BLM blm (Catalog #AAA284562) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA284562 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse BLM. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Bloom syndrome, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
