Hydroxy Dynasore is an analog of Dynasore that acts as a potent dynamin inhibitor (IC50 values are 0.38 and 2.6 uM for dynamin 1 and 2 respectively). Inhibits dynamin-mediated endocytosis in multiple cell types and reduces synaptic vesicle endocytosis in vitro. Prevents botulinum A internalization in hippocampal neurons.
