Uniprot Description

Bcl-11B: Tumor-suppressor protein involved in T-cell lymphomas. May function on the P53-signaling pathway. May be a key regulator of both differentiation and survival during thymocyte development. Repress transcription through direct, TFCOUP2-independent binding to a GC-rich response element. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Nuclear receptor co-regulator; C2H2-type zinc finger protein

Cellular Component: intracellular; neuron projection; nucleus

Molecular Function: metal ion binding; nucleic acid binding; protein binding; sequence-specific DNA binding

Biological Process: alpha-beta T cell differentiation; axonogenesis; central nervous system neuron differentiation; commitment of a neuronal cell to a specific type of neuron in the forebrain; negative regulation of apoptosis; negative regulation of cell proliferation; odontogenesis of dentine-containing teeth; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; positive T cell selection; post-embryonic camera-type eye development; post-embryonic development; regulation of gene expression; regulation of lipid metabolic process; regulation of neuron differentiation; regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; signal transduction; skin development; striatal medium spiny neuron differentiation; T cell differentiation in the thymus; T cell receptor V(D)J recombination; thymus development; transcription, DNA-dependent

Product Notes

The Mouse Bcl11b bcl11b (Catalog #AAA2880931) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2880931 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse Bcl11b. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "B-cell lymphoma/leukemia 11B, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
