Related Product Information for IL-10 R alpha active protein
IL-10 R alpha, also known as Interleukin-10 receptor subunit alpha, is structurally related to interferon receptors. It has been shown to mediate the immunosuppressive signal of interleukin 10, and thus inhibits the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines. This receptor is reported to promote survival of progenitor myeloid cells through the insulin receptor substrate-2/PI 3-kinase/AKT pathway. Activation of this receptor leads to tyrosine phosphorylation of JAK1 and TYK2 kinases. It has been shown to interact with Interleukin 10 and Janus kinase 1. Recombinant human IL-10 R alpha, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for interleukin 10. This protein is structurally related to interferon receptors. Two transcript variants, one protein-coding and the other not protein-coding, have been found for this gene. Uniprot Description

IL10RA: a receptor for interleukin 10 structurally related to interferon receptors. Mediates the immunosuppressive signal of interleukin 10, and thus inhibits the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines. This receptor is reported to promote survival of progenitor myeloid cells through the insulin receptor substrate-2/PI 3-kinase/AKT pathway. Activation of this receptor leads to tyrosine phosphorylation of JAK1 and TYK2 kinases.

The IL-10 R alpha il10ra (Catalog #AAA201175) is an Active Protein produced from Baculovirus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 22-235aa. AAA Biotech's IL-10 R alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE; Bioactivity. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL-10 R alpha il10ra for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: HGTELPSPPS VWFEAEFFHH ILHWTPIPNQ SESTCYEVAL LRYGIESWNS ISNCSQTLSY DLTAVTLDLY HSNGYRARVR AVDGSRHSNW TVTNTRFSVD EVTLTVGSVN LEIHNGFILG KIQLPRPKMA PANDTYESIF SHFREYEIAI RKVPGNFTFT HKKVKHENFS CVQVKPSVAS RSNKGMWSKE ECISLTRQYF TVTN. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-10 R alpha, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
