Autophagy-related protein 9 (atg9) Recombinant Protein | atg9 recombinant protein
Recombinant Schizosaccharomyces pombe Autophagy-related protein 9 (atg9)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
Function: Involved in autophagy and cytoplasm to vacuole transport (Cvt) vesicle formation. Plays a key role in the organization of the preautophagosomal structure/phagophore assembly site (PAS), the nucleating site for formation of the sequestering vesicle. Cycles between the PAS and the cytoplasmic vesicle pool and may participate in supplying membrane for the growing autophagosome
By similarity.
Subcellular location: Preautophagosomal structure membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein
By similarity. Cytoplasmic vesicle membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein
By similarity.
Sequence similarities: Belongs to the ATG9 family.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Autophagy-related protein 9 (atg9), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
