Adrenomedullin (ADM) Recombinant Protein | ADM recombinant protein
Recombinant Adrenomedullin (ADM)
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 2-8°C for one month.
Aliquot and store at -80°C for 12 months.
Stability Test:
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Accurate Molecular Mass: 22kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions.
NCBI Description
involved in the regulation of adrenal development; plays a role in inhibition of apoptosis [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
ADM: AM and PAMP are potent hypotensive and vasodilatator agents. Numerous actions have been reported most related to the physiologic control of fluid and electrolyte homeostasis. In the kidney, am is diuretic and natriuretic, and both am and pamp inhibit aldosterone secretion by direct adrenal actions. In pituitary gland, both peptides at physiologically relevant doses inhibit basal ACTH secretion. Both peptides appear to act in brain and pituitary gland to facilitate the loss of plasma volume, actions which complement their hypotensive effects in blood vessels. Belongs to the adrenomedullin family.

Product Notes
The ADM adm (Catalog #AAA2012013) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E.coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Recombinant Adrenomedullin (ADM) reacts with Rattus norvegicus (Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Adrenomedullin (ADM) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Positive Control; Immunogen; SDS-PAGE; Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ADM adm for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: SSQF RKKWNKWALS RGKRELQASS SYPTGLVDEK TVPTQTLGLQ DKQSTSSTPQ ASTQSTAHIR VKRYRQSMNQ GSRSTGCRFG TCTMQKLAHQ IYQFTDKDKD GMAPRNKISP QGYGRRRRRS LPEVLRARTV ESSQEQTHSA PASPAHQDIS RVSR. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Adrenomedullin (ADM), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
