Rat Beta-2 Adrenergic Receptor (ADRB2) ELISA Kit | ADRB2 elisa kit
Rat Beta-2 Adrenergic Receptor (ADRB2) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: ADRb2 is directly associated with one of its ultimate effectors, the class C L-type calcium channel CaV1.2. This gene encodes beta-2-adrenergic receptor which is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. This receptor is directly associated with one of its ultimate effectors, the class C L-type calcium channel Ca(V)1.2. This receptor-channel complex also contains a G protein, an adenylyl cyclase, cAMP-dependent kinase, and the counterbalancing phosphatase, PP2A. The assembly of the signaling complex provides a mechanism that ensures specific and rapid signaling by this G protein-coupled receptor. This gene is intronless. Different polymorphic forms, point mutations, and/or downregulation of this gene are associated with nocturnal asthma, obesity and type 2 diabetes.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
binds adrenergic receptor agonist zinterol; plays a role in G-protein coupled receptor regulation of calcium channel current [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
ADRB2: Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine- induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. The beta-2-adrenergic receptor binds epinephrine with an approximately 30-fold greater affinity than it does norepinephrine. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Adrenergic receptor subfamily. ADRB2 sub-subfamily.

Product Notes
The Rat ADRB2 adrb2 (Catalog #AAA9711976) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9711976 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat ADRB2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Beta-2 Adrenergic Receptor (ADRB2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
