Related Product Information for anti-EFHD1 antibody
EFHD1 encodes a member of the EF-hand super family of calcium binding proteins, which are involved in a variety of cellular processes including mitosis, synaptic transmission, and cytoskeletal rearrangement. EF-hand domain family member D1 encoded by EFHD1 is composed of an N-terminal disordered region, proline-rich elements, two EF-hands, and a C-terminal coiled-coil domain. EF-hand domain family member D1 has been shown to associate with the mitochondrial inner membrane, and in HeLa cells, acts as a novel mitochondrial calcium ion sensor for mitochondrial flash activation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Product Notes

The EFHD1 efhd1 (Catalog #AAA9700291) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EFHD1 Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's EFHD1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin. WB: 1:2000 IF: 1:100-1:200 IHC-P: 1:50-1:300. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EFHD1 efhd1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "EFHD1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
