Related Product Information for anti-LMO2 antibody
Description: LMO2 encodes a cysteine-rich, two LIM-domain protein that is required for yolk sac erythropoiesis. The LMO2 protein has a central and crucial role in hematopoietic development and is highly conserved.
Function: Acts with TAL1/SCL to regulate red blood cell development. Also acts with LDB1 to maintain erythroid precursors in an immature state.
Subunit Structure: Interacts via its LIM domains with ELF2 and LDB1. Also interacts with basic helix-loop-helix protein TAL1/SCL and can assemble in a complex with LMO2 and TAL1/SCL (By similarity). Interacts with BEX2 and KDM5A.
Similarity: The second LIM zinc-binding domain interacts with KDM5A.

NCBI Description

LMO2 encodes a cysteine-rich, two LIM-domain protein that is required for yolk sac erythropoiesis. The LMO2 protein has a central and crucial role in hematopoietic development and is highly conserved. The LMO2 transcription start site is located approximately 25 kb downstream from the 11p13 T-cell translocation cluster (11p13 ttc), where a number T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia-specific translocations occur. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.[provided by RefSeq, Nov 2008]

Uniprot Description

Acts with TAL1/SCL to regulate red blood cell development. Also acts with LDB1 to maintain erythroid precursors in an immature state.

Product Notes

The LMO2 lmo2 (Catalog #AAA9602305) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The LMO2 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LMO2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). ELISA: 1:10000 WB: 1:500-1:2000 FC/FACS: 1:200-1:400. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LMO2 lmo2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LMO2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
