Rabbit THR alpha Polyclonal Antibody | anti-THRA antibody
THR alpha Antibody
IF: 1:100-1:500
ICC: 1:100-1:500
ELISA :1:20000-1:40000
The optimal dilutions should be determined by the end user.
Important Note: For western blots , incubate membrance with diluted Ab in 5% w/v milk, 1X TBS, 0.1% TweenR20 at 4°C with gentle shaking over night.
Immunofluorescene (IF)
(MBS9602261 staining SKOV3 by IF/ICC. The sample were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25 degree C. The primary antibody was diluted at 1/200 and incubated with the sample for 1 hour at 37 degree C. An Alexa Fluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) Ab, diluted at 1/600, was used as the secondary antibody.)
Subunit Structure: Binds DNA as a dimer; homodimer and heterodimer with RXRB. Interacts with NCOA3 and NCOA6 coactivators, leading to a strong increase of transcription of target genes. Probably interacts with SFPQ. Interacts with C1D. Interacts with AKAP13. Interacts with TP53INP2. Interacts with PER2.
Similarity: Composed of three domains: a modulating N-terminal domain, a DNA-binding domain and a C-terminal ligand-binding domain. Belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family. NR1 subfamily.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a nuclear hormone receptor for triiodothyronine. It is one of the several receptors for thyroid hormone, and has been shown to mediate the biological activities of thyroid hormone. Knockout studies in mice suggest that the different receptors, while having certain extent of redundancy, may mediate different functions of thyroid hormone. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Isoform Alpha-1: Nuclear hormone receptor that can act as a repressor or activator of transcription. High affinity receptor for thyroid hormones, including triiodothyronine and thyroxine.

Product Notes
The THRA thra (Catalog #AAA9602261) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The THR alpha Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's THR alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:1000 IF: 1:100-1:500 ICC: 1:100-1:500 ELISA :1:20000-1:40000The optimal dilutions should be determined by the end user. Important Note: For western blots, incubate membrance with diluted Ab in 5% w/v milk, 1X TBS, 0.1% TweenR20 at 4°C with gentle shaking over night. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the THRA thra for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "THR alpha, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
