Related Product Information for anti-CCNL1 antibody
Description: CCNL1 cyclin L1, a member of the cyclin family. Associates with the PITSLRE kinase and is involved in pre-mRNA processing.
Function: Involved in pre-mRNA splicing. Functions in association with cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) (PubMed:18216018). Inhibited by the CDK-specific inhibitor CDKN1A/p21 (PubMed:11980906). May play a role in the regulation of RNA polymerase II (pol II). May be a candidate proto-oncogene in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC) (PubMed:12414649, PubMed:15700036).
Subunit Structure: Interacts with POLR2A via its hyperphosphorylated C-terminal domain (CTD) (By similarity). Interacts with CDK11A, CDK12 and CDK13 (PubMed:11980906, PubMed:18216018). Isoforms 1 and 2, but not isoform 3, interact with CDK11B. May form a ternary complex with CDK11B and casein kinase II (CKII) (PubMed:18216018). Interacts with pre-mRNA-splicing factors, including at least SRSF1, SRSF2 AND SRSF7/SLU7 (PubMed:11980906, PubMed:18216018).
Similarity: Contains a RS region (arginine-serine dipeptide repeat) within the C-terminal domain which is the hallmark of the SR family of splicing factors. This region probably plays a role in protein-protein interactions. Belongs to the cyclin family. Cyclin L subfamily.

Product Notes

The CCNL1 ccnl1 (Catalog #AAA9600173) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Cyclin L1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Cyclin L1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemisty (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:3000 IHC: 1:50-1:200 IF/ICC: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCNL1 ccnl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cyclin L1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
