Human minichromosome maintenance complex component 9 ELISA Kit | MCM9 elisa kit
Human DNA repliCation licensing factor MCM9, MCM9 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the mini-chromosome maintenance (MCM) protein family that are essential for the initiation of eukaryotic genome replication. Binding of this protein to chromatin has been shown to be a pre-requisite for recruiting the MCM2-7 helicase to DNA replication origins. This protein also binds, and is a positive regulator of, the chromatin licensing and DNA replication factor 1, CDT1. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2010]
Uniprot Description
MCM9: Component of the MCM8-MCM9 complex, a complex involved in homologous recombination repair following DNA interstrand cross-links and plays a key role during gametogenesis. The MCM8- MCM9 complex probably acts as a hexameric helicase downstream of the Fanconi anemia proteins BRCA2 and RAD51 and is required to process aberrant forks into homologous recombination substrates and to orchestrate homologous recombination with resection, fork stabilization and fork restart. Belongs to the MCM family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Human MCM9 mcm9 (Catalog #AAA9318788) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9318788 ELISA Kit recognizes Human MCM9. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "minichromosome maintenance complex component 9, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
