Human Triadin (TRDN) ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an integral membrane protein that contains a single transmembrane domain. As similar protein in rabbits plays a role in skeletal muscle excitation-contraction coupling as part of the calcium release complex in association with the ryanodine receptor. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene, and single nucleotide polymorphisms in this gene may be markers for IgA nephritis. Uniprot Description
TRDN: May be involved in anchoring calsequestrin to the junctional sarcoplasmic reticulum and allowing its functional coupling with the ryanodine receptor. TRDN mutations have been found in catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) (PubMed:22422768). CPVT is an arrhythmogenic disorder characterized by stress-induced, bidirectional ventricular tachycardia that may degenerate into cardiac arrest and cause sudden death.

Product Notes
The Human TRDN trdn (Catalog #AAA9313022) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9313022 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TRDN. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Triadin (TRDN), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
