Synonyms
VTI1B; VTI1B Antibody (Center) Blocking peptide; Vesicle transport through interaction with t-SNAREs homolog 1B; Vesicle transport v-SNARE protein Vti1-like 1; Vti1-rp1; VTI1; VTI1L; VTI1L1; VTI2; VTI1B blocking peptide
Ordering
Specificity
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody was selected from the Center region of VTI1B. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Form/Format
Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
Sequence Length
232
Cellular Location
Late endosome membrane; Single-pass type IV membrane protein. Lysosome membrane. Cytoplasmic granule
Tissue Location
Expressed in all tissues examined.
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 degree C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 degree C.
Related Product Information for VTI1B blocking peptide
V-SNARE that mediates vesicle transport pathways through interactions with t-SNAREs on the target membrane. These interactions are proposed to mediate aspects of the specificity of vesicle trafficking and to promote fusion of the lipid bilayers. May be concerned with increased secretion of cytokines associated with cellular senescence.

Uniprot Description

VTI1B: V-SNARE that mediates vesicle transport pathways through interactions with t-SNAREs on the target membrane. These interactions are proposed to mediate aspects of the specificity of vesicle trafficking and to promote fusion of the lipid bilayers. May be concerned with increased secretion of cytokines associated with cellular senescence. Belongs to the VTI1 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The VTI1B vti1b (Catalog #AAA9220325) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "VTI1B, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
