NRBP1 blocking peptide

NRBP1 Antibody (N-term) Blocking peptide

Gene Names
NRBP1; MADM; NRBP; BCON3; MUDPNP
Synonyms
NRBP1; NRBP1 Antibody (N-term) Blocking peptide; Nuclear receptor-binding protein; BCON3; NRBP; NRBP1 blocking peptide
Ordering
Specificity
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody was selected from the N-term region of NRBP1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Form/Format
Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
Sequence Length
535
Cellular Location
Cytoplasm, cell cortex. Endomembrane system. Cell projection, lamellipodium. Note: Colocalizes with activated RAC3 to endomembranes and at the cell periphery in lamellipodia
Tissue Location
Ubiquitously expressed in all tissues examined with high levels in the testis.
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 degree C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 degree C.
Related Product Information for NRBP1 blocking peptide
May play a role in subcellular trafficking between the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus through interactions with the Rho-type GTPases. Binding to the NS3 protein of dengue virus type 2 appears to subvert this activity into the alteration of the intracellular membrane structure associated with flaviviral replication.

Uniprot Description

NRBP1: May play a role in subcellular trafficking between the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus through interactions with the Rho-type GTPases. Binding to the NS3 protein of dengue virus type 2 appears to subvert this activity into the alteration of the intracellular membrane structure associated with flaviviral replication. Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Ser/Thr protein kinase family.

Protein type: Protein kinase, Other; Kinase, protein; Protein kinase, Ser/Thr (non-receptor); Other group; NRBP family

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2p23

Cellular Component: cytosol; endomembrane system; nucleoplasm

Molecular Function: protein binding; protein homodimerization activity; protein serine/threonine kinase activity

Biological Process: ER to Golgi vesicle-mediated transport; protein amino acid phosphorylation; transcription initiation from RNA polymerase II promoter

Product Notes

The NRBP1 nrbp1 (Catalog #AAA9220278) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NRBP1, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
