Rabbit anti-Mouse ADCK4 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ADCK4 antibody
ADCK4 Polyclonal Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein with two copies of a domain found in protein kinases. The encoded protein has a complete protein kinase catalytic domain, and a truncated domain that contains only the active and binding sites of the protein kinase domain, however, it is not known whether the protein has any kinase activity. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2011]
Uniprot Description
Atypical kinase involved in the biosynthesis of coenzyme Q, also named ubiquinone, an essential lipid-soluble electron transporter for aerobic cellular respiration (PubMed:24270420). Its substrate specificity is unclear: does not show any protein kinase activity. Probably acts as a small molecule kinase, possibly a lipid kinase that phosphorylates a prenyl lipid in the ubiquinone biosynthesis pathway. Required for podocyte migration (PubMed:24270420).

Product Notes
The ADCK4 coq8b (Catalog #AAA9134925) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ADCK4 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ADCK4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500 - 1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ADCK4 coq8b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MWLKVGGLLR GTGGQLGQTV GWPCGALGPG PHRWGPCGGS WAQKFYQDGP GRGLGEEDIR RAREARPRKT PRPQLSDRSR ERKVPASRIS. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ADCK4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
