Related Product Information for anti-CELSR2 antibody
Cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 2 belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 2 family, highest expressed in brain and testis. The protein encoded by the gene CELSR2 is a member of the flamingo subfamily, part of the cadherin superfamily. It may have an important role in cell/cell signaling during nervous system formation.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the flamingo subfamily, part of the cadherin superfamily. The flamingo subfamily consists of nonclassic-type cadherins; a subpopulation that does not interact with catenins. The flamingo cadherins are located at the plasma membrane and have nine cadherin domains, seven epidermal growth factor-like repeats and two laminin A G-type repeats in their ectodomain. They also have seven transmembrane domains, a characteristic unique to this subfamily. It is postulated that these proteins are receptors involved in contact-mediated communication, with cadherin domains acting as homophilic binding regions and the EGF-like domains involved in cell adhesion and receptor-ligand interactions. The specific function of this particular member has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The CELSR2 celsr2 (Catalog #AAA857006) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 2 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). WB: 1:250~1:500 ICC: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CELSR2 celsr2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
