SLX1B sirna
SLX1B siRNA (Rat)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
SLX1: catalytic subunit of the SLX1-SLX4 structure-specific endonuclease that resolves DNA secondary structures generated during DNA repair and recombination. Has endonuclease activity towards branched DNA substrates, introducing single-strand cuts in duplex DNA close to junctions with ss-DNA. Has a preference for 5'-flap structures, and promotes symmetrical cleavage of static and migrating Holliday junctions (HJs). Resolves HJs by generating two pairs of ligatable, nicked duplex products. Forms a heterodimer with SLX4. Found in a segmental duplication on p arm of chromosome 16 giving rise to two identical copies of this gene sharing exons with SULT1A3 and SULT1A4. Two alternatively spliced human isoforms have been described.
Protein type: Deoxyribonuclease; EC 3.6.1.-; DNA repair, damage
Molecular Function: 5'-flap endonuclease activity; metal ion binding; crossover junction endodeoxyribonuclease activity
Biological Process: DNA repair; DNA catabolic process, endonucleolytic; double-strand break repair via homologous recombination; DNA recombination

Product Notes
The SLX1B slx1b (Catalog #AAA827114) is a siRNA produced from Synthetic and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SLX1B siRNA (Rat) reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SLX1B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, RNA Interference (RNAi). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SLX1B slx1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SLX1B, siRNA" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
