Related Product Information for anti-KCNG1 antibody
Voltage-gated potassium channels (Kv channels) are a family of plasma membrane proteins containing 6 putative transmembrane domains. Kv channels present in all animal cells, open and close upon changes in the transmembrane potential. Kv channels are involved in repolarization of excitable cells. KV6.1 (also known as K13, kH2, KCNG and KCNG1) is located on human chromosome 20q13.13. KV6.1 is abundantly expressed in skeletal muscle. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found in normal and cancerous tissues. KV6.1 is associated with some diseases, including Colon Small Cell Carcinoma and Fragile X Syndrome.

Product Notes

The KCNG1 kcng1 (Catalog #AAA8102038) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-KCNG1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's KCNG1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KCNG1 kcng1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "KCNG1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
