NCBI Description

The product of this gene belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors, which contains several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor is a P2Y purinergic receptor for UDP-glucose and other UDP-sugars coupled to G-proteins. It has been implicated in extending the known immune system functions of P2Y receptors by participating in the regulation of the stem cell compartment, and it may also play a role in neuroimmune function. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The Mouse P2RY14 p2ry14 (Catalog #AAA078882) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA078882 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse P2RY14. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Purinergic Receptor P2Y, G Protein Coupled 14, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
