Related Product Information for TNFAIP2 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay||This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti-Human TNFAIP2 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti-Human TNFAIP2 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and wash with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Human TNFAIP2 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of Human TNFAIP2 can be calculated.

NCBI Description

This gene was identified as a gene whose expression can be induced by the tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF) in umbilical vein endothelial cells. The expression of this gene was shown to be induced by retinoic acid in a cell line expressing a oncogenic version of the retinoic acid receptor alpha fusion protein, which suggested that this gene may be a retinoic acid target gene in acute promyelocytic leukemia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

TNFAIP2: May play a role as a mediator of inflammation and angiogenesis. Belongs to the SEC6 family.

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 14q32

Cellular Component: exocyst; extracellular space

Molecular Function: SNARE binding

Biological Process: angiogenesis; cell differentiation; exocyst localization; exocytosis

Product Notes

The Human TNFAIP2 tnfaip2 (Catalog #AAA761383) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA761383 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TNFAIP2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 2, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
