Human Transcription factor SOX 11 (SOX11) ELISA Kit | SOX11 elisa kit
Human Transcription factor SOX 11 (SOX11) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: SOX11 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a polyclonal anti-SOX11 antibody and an SOX11-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with SOX11-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the SOX11 concentration since SOX11 from samples and SOX11-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-SOX11 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by SOX11 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind SOX11-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The SOX11 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This intronless gene encodes a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. The encoded protein may act as a transcriptional regulator after forming a protein complex with other proteins. The protein may function in the developing nervous system and play a role in tumorigenesis. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The Human SOX11 sox11 (Catalog #AAA7245737) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7245737 ELISA Kit recognizes Human SOX11. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Transcription factor SOX 11 (SOX11), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
