Human C5a anaphylatoxin chemotactic receptor (C5AR1) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay||C5AR1 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a polyclonal anti-C5AR1 antibody and an C5AR1-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with C5AR1-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the C5AR1 concentration since C5AR1 from samples and C5AR1-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-C5AR1 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by C5AR1 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind C5AR1-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The C5AR1 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.

Uniprot Description
C5aR: a family 1 G-protein coupled receptor that stimulates the GTPase activity of Gi2. Receptor for the chemotactic and inflammatory complement factor C5a. Stimulates chemotaxis, granule enzyme release and superoxide anion production. Phosphorylated in response to C5a or after stimulation of cells with phorbol esters. Expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells, astrocytes and microglia.

Product Notes
The Human C5AR1 c5ar1 (Catalog #AAA7243363) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7243363 ELISA Kit recognizes Human C5AR1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C5a anaphylatoxin chemotactic receptor (C5AR1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
