NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is the common beta chain of the high affinity receptor for IL-3, IL-5 and CSF. Defects in this gene have been reported to be associated with protein alveolar proteinosis (PAP). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

CSF2RB: a common beta chain of the high affinity receptor for IL-3, IL-5 and CSF. A type I cytokine family of receptor. Defects are a cause of congenital pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP) [MIM:265120]. PAP is an autosomal recessive fatal respiratory disease.

Product Notes

The Rat CSF2RB csf2rb (Catalog #AAA7213844) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7213844 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat CSF2RB. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cytokine receptor common subunit beta (CSF2RB), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
