PLA2G4E Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
PLA2G4E: a calcium-dependent phospholipase A2 that catalyzes the release of arachidonic acid from membrane phospholipids. Selectively hydrolyzes glycerophospholipids in the sn-2 position. Translocates to lysosomal membranes in a calcium-dependent fashion. The N-terminal C2 domain associates with lipid membranes and mediates its regulation by presenting the active site to its substrate in response to elevations of cytosolic Ca2+. Two isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The PLA2G4E pla2g4e (Catalog #AAA7131315) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PLA2G4E Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PLA2G4E can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). IHC: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PLA2G4E pla2g4e for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PLA2G4E, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
