Uniprot Description

MOV10: Probable RNA helicase. Required for RNA-mediated gene silencing by the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). Required for both miRNA-mediated translational repression and miRNA- mediated cleavage of complementary mRNAs by RISC. Also required for RNA-directed transcription and replication of the human hepatitis delta virus (HDV). Interacts with small capped HDV RNAs derived from genomic hairpin structures that mark the initiation sites of RNA-dependent HDV RNA transcription. Belongs to the DNA2/NAM7 helicase family. SDE3 subfamily. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: RNA processing; Spliceosome; Helicase; RNA-binding; EC 3.6.4.13

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1p13.2

Cellular Component: extracellular space; cytosol

Molecular Function: protein binding; helicase activity; ATP binding

Biological Process: epidermal growth factor receptor signaling pathway; Notch signaling pathway; phosphoinositide-mediated signaling; fibroblast growth factor receptor signaling pathway; transcription, DNA-dependent; regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; nerve growth factor receptor signaling pathway; miRNA-mediated gene silencing, mRNA cleavage; innate immune response

Product Notes

The MOV10 mov10 (Catalog #AAA710093) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti-human Mov10, Moloney leukemia virus 10, homolog (mouse) polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Mov10, Moloney leukemia virus 10, homolog can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MOV10 mov10 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Mov10, Moloney leukemia virus 10, homolog, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
