• Application Notes: Research Application(s): ELISA Detection: MP2-43D11 monoclonal antibody is useful as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA for quantifying mouse IL-3 protein levels.2,3,5 Biotinylated MP2-43D11 antibody should be paired with purified MP2-8F8 antibody as the capture antibody, with purified recombinant mouse IL-3 as the standard.; Western Blotting: The purified MP2-43D11 antibody is also useful for Western blotting applications. For Western blotting, a concentration of 1-5 ug/mL (in conjunction with AP-labeled Goat Anti-Rat-Ig) has been found to enable detection of <= 100 ng/lane of recombinant mouse IL-3 under reducing conditions.; Since applications vary, each investigator should determine the optimal concentration appropriate for individual applications.
