• Biological Activity: ED50 <0.5ng/ml (>2x10e6unit), determined by the dose dependen stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF-receptors. FGF-10 is a heparin binding growth factor that is expressed by fibroblasts, pre-adipocytes and lung mesenchyme.

• Preparation and Storage: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with 5mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.4, 0.1-1.0% BSA. Aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
