NCBI Description

This gene encodes the ligand of the tyrosine-kinase receptor encoded by the KIT locus. This ligand is a pleiotropic factor that acts in utero in germ cell and neural cell development, and hematopoiesis, all believed to reflect a role in cell migration. In adults, it functions pleiotropically, while mostly noted for its continued requirement in hematopoiesis. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Product Notes

The SCF kitlg (Catalog #AAA6498532) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SCF, CT (Kit Ligand, C-kit Ligand, Stem Cell Factor, Mast Cell Growth Factor, MGF, KITLG) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SCF can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF). ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:50-1:100 FC/FACS: 1:10-1:50 IF: 1:10-1:50 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SCF kitlg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SCF, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
