Related Product Information for anti-FARSB antibody
FARSB is a highly conserved enzyme that belongs to the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase class IIc subfamily. This enzyme comprises the regulatory beta subunits that form a tetramer with two catalytic alpha subunits. In the presence of ATP, this tetramer is responsible for attaching L-phenylalanine to the terminal adenosine of the appropriate tRNA.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a highly conserved enzyme that belongs to the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase class IIc subfamily. This enzyme comprises the regulatory beta subunits that form a tetramer with two catalytic alpha subunits. In the presence of ATP, this tetramer is responsible for attaching L-phenylalanine to the terminal adenosine of the appropriate tRNA. A pseudogene located on chromosome 10 has been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Catalytic activity: ATP + L-phenylalanine + tRNA(Phe) = AMP + diphosphate + L-phenylalanyl-tRNA(Phe).

Subunit structure: Tetramer of two alpha and two beta subunits

By similarity.

Subcellular location: Cytoplasm

By similarity.

Sequence similarities: Belongs to the phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase beta subunit family. Type 2 subfamily.Contains 1 B5 domain.

Product Notes

The FARSB farsb (Catalog #AAA645987) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FARSB, NT (Phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase beta chain, Phenylalanine-tRNA ligase beta chain, PheRS, FARSB, FARSLB, FRSB) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FARSB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FARSB farsb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FARSB, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
