Total RNA Northern Blots are manufactured by using high-quality total RNA isolated from documented tissues. The tissue is excised, immediately frozen, and then pathologically identified. Total RNA is isolated by proprietary techniques. Each lane of the blot contains 20ug of RNA.
The purified RNA is separated by gel electrophoresis and transferred to a modified nylon membrane. Hybridizing a representative blot from each lot with DNA probe of human18S ribosomal RNA ensures the quality of each lot. A user's manual and DNA probe of human18S ribosomal RNA are included with all blots.
RNA Northern Blots are supplied ready for immediate use, so that you can immediately screen for your gene of interest without the hassle of obtaining hard to find tissues and processing the RNA yourself.
