NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
Function: Sequence-specific transcription factor which is part of a developmental regulatory system that provides cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis
By similarity.
Subcellular location: Nucleus
By similarity.
Developmental stage: First expressed at 12 hours post-fertilization (hpf) in the dorsal pre-somitic mesoderm and neural keel at posterior levels, extending into the ventral somitic mesoderm during budding. At 22-26 hpf, expression decreases in the lateral and ventral mesoderm, but is maintained in the neural rod. Expression decreases from posterior to anterior with an anterior expression limit at somite 11. At 24-26 hpf, posterior expression begin to weaken and is undetectable by 40-56 hpf. Ref.2
Sequence similarities: Belongs to the Abd-B homeobox family.Contains 1 homeobox DNA-binding domain.
Sequence caution: The sequence AAI14272.1 differs from that shown. Reason: Erroneous initiation. The sequence CAA74878.1 differs from that shown. Reason: Erroneous termination at position 277. Translated as stop.

Product Notes
The hoxd11a hoxd11a (Catalog #AAA636748) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Hox C11 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA). Suitable for use in ELISA as an Antigen, Ligand, or Assay Standard. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the hoxd11a hoxd11a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Hox C11, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
