Immunofluorescence (IF)

(Fluorescent confocal image of Hela cell stained with NFIA Antibody (C-term).Hela cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with NFIA primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37 degree C). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37 degree C).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37 degree C). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue) (10 ug/ml, 10 min). NFIA immunoreactivity is localized to Nucleus significantly. )

Related Product Information for anti-NFIA antibody
Nuclear factor I (NFI) proteins constitute a family of dimeric DNA-binding proteins with similar, and possibly identical, DNA-binding specificity. They function as cellular transcription factors and as replication factors for adenovirus DNA replication. Diversity in this protein family is generated by multiple genes, differential splicing, and heterodimerization.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the NF1 (nuclear factor 1) family of transcription factors. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2011]

Uniprot Description

NFI-A: Recognizes and binds the palindromic sequence 5'- TTGGCNNNNNGCCAA-3' present in viral and cellular promoters and in the origin of replication of adenovirus type 2. These proteins are individually capable of activating transcription and replication. Belongs to the CTF/NF-I family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The NFIA nfia (Catalog #AAA6325003) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NFIA, CT (NFIA, KIAA1439, Nuclear factor 1 A-type, CCAAT-box-binding transcription factor, Nuclear factor I/A, TGGCA-binding protein) (PE) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NFIA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:100-500 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NFIA nfia for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NFIA, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
