Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(FAT10 Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in mouse liver tissue lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the hFAT10 antibody detected the hFAT10 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(FAT10 Antibody (C-term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human stomach carcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of FAT10 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of FAT10 Antibody (C-term) with HepG2 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
FAT10: Ubiquitin-like protein modifier which can be covalently attached to target protein and subsequently leads to their degradation by the 26S proteasome, in a NUB1L-dependent manner. Probably functions as a survival factor. Conjugation ability activated by UBA6. Promotes the expression of the proteasome subunit beta type-9 (PSMB9/LMP2). Regulates TNF-alpha-induced and LPS-mediated activation of the central mediator of innate immunity NF-kappa-B by promoting TNF-alpha-mediated proteasomal degradation of ubiquitinated-I-kappa-B-alpha. Required for TNF-alpha-induced p65 nuclear translocation in renal tubular epithelial cells (RTECs). May be involved in dendritic cell (DC) maturation, the process by which immature dendritic cells differentiate into fully competent antigen-presenting cells that initiate T-cell responses. Mediates mitotic non-disjunction and chromosome instability, in long-term in vitro culture and cancers, by abbreviating mitotic phase and impairing the kinetochore localization of MAD2L1 during the prometaphase stage of the cell cycle. May be involved in the formation of aggresomes when proteasome is saturated or impaired. Mediates apoptosis in a caspase-dependent manner, especially in renal epithelium and tubular cells during renal diseases such as polycystic kidney disease and Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)- associated nephropathy (HIVAN).

Product Notes
The FAT10 ubd (Catalog #AAA6298123) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FAT10, CT (UBD,FAT10) (FITC) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FAT10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), FLISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). IF: 1:10-50 FLISA: 1:1,000 IHC: 1:50-100 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FAT10 ubd for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FAT10, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
