IHC: 1:50-100
WB: 1:100-500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(ADH1C Antibody (Center) western blot analysis in T47D cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the ADH1C antibody detected the ADH1C protein (arrow).)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of ADH1C (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal ADH1C Antibody (Center). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the ADH1C gene.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(ADH1C Antibody (Center) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human hepatocarcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the ADH1C Antibody (Center) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of ADH1C Antibody (Center) with T47D cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green).DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(ADH1C Antibody (Center) flow cytometric analysis of CEM cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes class I alcohol dehydrogenase, gamma subunit, which is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family. Members of this enzyme family metabolize a wide variety of substrates, including ethanol, retinol, other aliphatic alcohols, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products. Class I alcohol dehydrogenase, consisting of several homo- and heterodimers of alpha, beta, and gamma subunits, exhibits high activity for ethanol oxidation and plays a major role in ethanol catabolism. Three genes encoding alpha, beta and gamma subunits are tandemly organized in a genomic segment as a gene cluster. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The ADH1C adh1c (Catalog #AAA6271741) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ADH1C, ID (ADH1C, ADH3, Alcohol dehydrogenase 1C, Alcohol dehydrogenase subunit gamma) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ADH1C can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). FC/FACS: 1:10-50 ELISA: 1:1,000 IF: 1:10-50 IHC: 1:50-100 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ADH1C adh1c for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ADH1C, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
