Related Product Information for anti-tch homolog 4, Drosophila, INT3) antibody
Notch signaling plays a key role in the normal development of many tissues and cell types, through diverse effects on differentiation, survival, and/or proliferation that are highly dependent on signal strength and cellular context. Members of the Notch gene family encode transmembrane receptors that are critical for various cell fate decisions. Notch family members share structural characteristics including an extracellular domain consisting of multiple epidermal growth factor-like (EGF) repeats, and an intracellular domain consisting of multiple, different domain types. Multiple human notch proteins (Notch1, Notch2, Notch3 and Notch4) have been identified and they function as a receptors for membrane bound ligands. Notch signaling is also linked to tumorigenesis as first demonstrated by the identification of a recurrent t(7;9)(q34;q34.3) chromosomal translocation involving the human Notch1 gene that is found in a small subset of human pre-T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemias (T-ALL). Since this discovery, aberrant Notch signaling has been suggested to be involved in a wide variety of human neoplasms. Notch4 functions as a receptor for membrane bound ligands, and may play a role in vascular, renal and hepatic development. Notch4 may also be associated with susceptibility to schizophrenia in a small portion of cases.

Product Notes

The tch homolog 4, Drosophila, INT3) (Catalog #AAA626933) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tch homolog 4, Drosophila, INT3) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's tch homolog 4, Drosophila, INT3) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA). Suitable for use in ELISA. Dilution: ELISA: 1:500 by peptide-specific ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the tch homolog 4, Drosophila, INT3) for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "tch homolog 4, Drosophila, INT3), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
