Related Product Information for anti-CCRL1 antibody
Chemokine receptors are specialized proteins that function at the surface of cells, and enable chemokines to trigger internal cellular processes. Chemokines and their receptors play a pivotal role in lymphocyte trafficking, recruiting and recirculation. Chemokines act through seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptors. The chemokine system is increasingly recognized to play an important role in lymphocyte biology.

CCR11 is a G protein-coupled, seven-transmembrane receptor protein that plays a role in the chemotaxis and trafficking of leukocytes. Showing similar binding affinities as does CCR2 and CCR10 (1,2), CCR11 has been shown to specifically bind the MCP- (monocyte chemoattractant protein) family of chemokines, including MCP-4, MCP-2, and MCP-1. It was also shown to bind eotaxin (3). Though CCR11 shares functional similarity to CCR2 because it recognizes members of the MCP family, CCR11 has a distinct expression pattern (3).

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, and is a receptor for C-C type chemokines. This receptor has been shown to bind dendritic cell- and T cell-activated chemokines including CCL19/ELC, CCL21/SLC, and CCL25/TECK. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described. [provided by RefSeq]

Product Notes

The CCRL1 ccrl1 (Catalog #AAA611786) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CCR11 (Chemokine Receptor 11, CKRB) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CCR11 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). ELISA: 1:37,500 Western Blot: 1:500 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:125 Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCRL1 ccrl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCR11, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
