Related Product Information for anti-Transglutaminase II antibody
Transglutaminase II catalyzes calcium-dependent post-translational modification of proteins by formation of an isopeptide bond within or between polypeptide chains. It is also known as TGC, tTG, type II-, Gh, cytosolic-, liver-, endothelial-, erythrocyte-, cellular- transglutaminase. Different tissues and cell types express varying amounts of tissue transglutaminase with a markedly high expression in rheumatoid lesions. It is implicated in programmed cell death, signal transduction, drug resistance, cell growth, endocytosis, insulin secretion, cell adhesion, cataract formation, and wound healing.

Product Notes

The Transglutaminase II (Catalog #AAA608109) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Transglutaminase II (BSA & Azide Free) reacts with Canine, Guinea Pig, Human, Rabbit and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Transglutaminase II can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, Affinity Purification, Biological Blockade. Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2 hours ar RT Immunoprecipitation (Native and denatured): 2ug/mg protein lysate. Use Protein G. Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Transglutaminase II for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Transglutaminase II, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
