Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, FACS and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: FACS: 2.5ug/5x10e5 cells
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
Immunogen
Human b1 integrins purified from Triton X-100 lysates of human lung, liver, and skeletal muscle tissues. Specifically selected due to its increased reactivity with T-lymphoblasts upon Mn2+ stimulation.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Related Product Information for anti-Integrin, beta1, active antibody
The beta1 or VLA integrin subgroup contains at least 10 members, each with a distinct alpha subunit non-convalently associated with the common b1 subunit. Functional activation of integrins can be experimentally induced by addition of Mg2+ or Mn2+, or by using one of several stimulatory antibodies that are available. Intracellular signals generated as a result of cell activation also modulate the confirmation and affinity of integrins in cellular systems. Antibodies which have the ability to discriminate between different states of integrin activation are exceptionally useful for studies on the regulation of activation. This antibody recognizes epitopes in the 355-425 region of the common b1 subunit of VLA integrins, whose expression parallels the ligand binding activity of these adhesion receptors induced by various extracellular and intracellular stimuli.

Product Notes

The Integrin, beta1, active (Catalog #AAA601410) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Integrin, beta1, active (ITGB1, Integrin, beta 1 (Fibronectin Receptor, beta Polypeptide, Antigen CD29 includes MDF2, MSK12), CD29, Fibronectin Receptor Subunit beta, FNRB, GPIIA, MDF2, MSK12, VLA-4 Subunit beta, VLAB, VLA-BETA) reacts with Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Integrin, beta1, active can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, FACS and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: FACS: 2.5ug/5x10e5 cells Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Integrin, beta1, active for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Integrin, beta1, active, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
